SVATÝ PETR
In Svatý Petr you can enjoy high quality, daily prepared pistes. These are of blue, red and black level of difficulty, therefore suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Svatý Petr offers two chairlifts, one of which is a 6-seat heated one and the other one is 2-seat.

MEDVĚDÍN
Medvědín is an unquestionably ideal place for skiing of families with children. There are skitows as well as a 4-seat chairlift. Medvědín offers well prepared pistes and moreover a snowpark.

HROMOVKA
The parking lot Hromovka is situated in the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn next to the chairlift that provides a connection to the skiresort Svatý Petr. On Hromovka piste (red, intermediate) you can also enjoy night skiing from 6.00 PM to 9.00 PM.

LABSKÁ
Labská is a smaller ski resort, offering a 3-seat chairlift with a red downhill run suitable for families with children. The piste winds through the forest past quaint mountain cottages, so on your way down you have a lovely view of Giant Mountain scenery.

Entrance to the cross-country tracks below is free of charge. The tracks are prepared daily and provide a great opportunity to enjoy a pleasant outdoor activity.

“KEEP FIT” ROUTE
The track starts at the lower station of the Medvědín chairlift, going on to Labe Valley. It is 8 km long (4 km there and 4 back). The track is designed for classical cross-country skiing and is suitable for all age categories.

RACE TRACKS HORNÍ MÍSEČKY
In the ski resort of Horní Mísečky there is an available cross-country skiing stadium offering several tracks of the lengths 7.5 km, 10 km, 15 km a 30 km. Their attractivity lies in the fact that all of them meet the World Cup parameters.

LONG ROUTE KRKONOŠSKÁ MAGISTRÁLA
The 71 km long route called Krkonošská magistrála leads along the whole mountain range. You can naturally choose only a part of this mountain route, however, experienced and fit cross-country skiers are recommended to try the whole 71 km track.

“Set out on your alpine touring skis or split board on beautiful alpine touring routes in the surroundings of Špindlerův Mlýn, as well as in other places of the Giant Mountains.

You can enjoy wonderful easy tracks for alpine skiers and, believe it or not, some of them are also suitable for families with children!

Most of alpine touring routes in the terrain of the Giant Mountains are not marked with poles or hiking marks and in certain weather conditions, some sections are very difficult to find your bearings in.

The Giant Mountains alpine touring routes are tracked for alpine touring skiers, splitboarders or cross-country skiers. These routes can be combined with other marked trails and paths.

Most alpine touring routes cross avalanche fields, so you are urgently advised to proceed with utmost caution. Please do not underestimate the Giant Mountains!
